----solitude----
Tears that bleed from my eyes
landing onto my feet
I bow my head in shame
I cannot stand to look at you

Solitude became my one and only prize
Given up and caved under the deceit
I took the blame
for being untrue

I stood before you
admiration like a statue
Solitude is what I receive
when I tried to believe
that solitude and regret
weren't the only things I could get

Tears that leak from my eyes
the salty taste lingers on my breath
as I remain looking at the floor
it's easier than looking at you

As this tear stain dries
I give into death
if I had only known what was in store
That solitude would turn me blue
