This is a big fuck you to a few people.I wrote this on a creative writing course.
Oh, to achieve success!
We struggle and fight,
just to make a living,
a life.
Ignoring our elders and disrespecting our peers,
Oh! the simple joys of teenage life!

We stand together,
a generation in ruins,
rising from the ashes of our torrid, broken dreams-
Ah, melodrama! The salt of modern poetry,
again, we ignore our elders,
and the literature of their bards.

Colder nights, sweltering summers,
climate change corrupting our knowledge,
of typical English weather,
years of heritage and criticism,
our descendants lie forgotten.

The future seems to hold
the same fate for us,
forgotten by our children
left to gather dust,
writing flippant rubbish
to analyse the day,
as if we had opinions
or anything to say.
