The wonderous life of a canine
Dog

Occasionally he scratches
If he ‘sits’ he gets a treat
Most of the time he’s sleeping
The rest of the time he eats

If you throw a bone he’ll get it
If you need a hug he’ll be there
If you have bare feet he’ll lick them
If you’re near the food drawer he’ll stare

The simple life of a canine
I envy to the max
How I wish I could sit by the fire
And curl up and relax

You’d always get a friendly pat
And a play-fight now and then
You can hump anything you want
That’s why they relate so well to men

It doesn’t matter who you are
A dog will love you forever
Like the old man and his Labrador
Two birds of a feather
