A rough draft
We so easily get caught up in our daily lives,

struggling continously just to simply survive.

Focusing on our obstacles, confusing desires for needs.

Convincing ourselves that sacrifice and commitment are what help us succeed.

Taking for granted our most precious gifts, for they are given freely and are less noticeable in the daily grind.

If only we could all realize the true value of these miracles, we'd understand that wealth is only a state of mind.

Shedding our lives of misguided values, only then the true riches of our world will we find.

When pains can be healed by a loved ones simple embrace.

Food tastes so much richer when seasoned with a little grace.

Flowers smell sweeter when hands are held tight.

A kiss is the cure for anger when young lovers have a fight.

If wealth is measured by the precious possesions that a person may claim hold.

Than the man who has a life filled with love knows riches untold.
