how things are not always what they seem
the glass is half empty
between five and nine
when shrieks filter through
impeccable walls
and cleans slates
are washed dirty

Alarm bells rattle
then fall to the ground
where the insanity of beauty
is forced on walls
by paints of black
and rainbows laughing
crying
lying
