This is a poem written about a mothers love
I watch you meet.
But im not sure.
Is this the right one
that can open the door?

You take her hand
on your first date.
Her dad warns you,
"Do not be late."

When you put the ring
on her left hand.
The love I feel
seems to expand.

I am jealous
and I am sad
the biggest emotion
is I am glad.

As she walks down
that long asile.
No one sees me
as I begin to smile.

She is the right one
and now I know
It is now way past
my time to go.

As I look up
into the light.
I spread my wings
and I take flight.
