I write this poem as I deal with my deepening feelings to my boyfriend.
My Deep Secret


I cannot tell you my deep secret.
As you hold my body close to yours,
I am falling in love with you.

I cannot tell you my deep secret.
As I look into your hazel eyes,
I am falling in love with you.

I cannot tell you my deep secret.
As you touch my face tenderly,
I am falling in love with you.

I cannot tell you my deep secret.
As your strong hand squeezes mine,
I am falling in love with you.

Why the deep secret?
Why the mystery?

You may not love me.
You may run from me.

And my heart that deeply loves you would break.
