A tribute to my mother...
The tears of the mother,
Ushered in
By a son who
Knew nothing of his deeds.
The mother, distraught, secluded, alienated
can find no place to heal.
Her pain, knows no bounds,
and emanates from deep within the soul.
She feels alone, helpless, a failure.
If only she knew...
How much she is appreciated
If only she knew...
That she never failed, but actually succeeded.
Her loss, her pain,
is not only hers.
But she chooses to hold the complete burden.
A burden far to heavy to carry.
She alone will be crushed.
If she stands under that falling sky.
If only she knew the supports we offer.
A buttress in disguise,
Her youngest is there.
If only she knew...
If only she knew...
