Alphaebt Fun Contest- Round 8
Palm Sunday begins anew;
On a donkey, a stranger parades through.
No one wise to his true purpose
Man is delivered from his final justice.
Laying down palms they walked,
King of the Jews, would soon be mocked.
Judas kisses the man as he prays
Innocence lost, before the sun would raise.
Heaven’s angels weep from above,
God’s only son sacrificed for love.
Forced onto a cross with thorns and nails
Erected on Cavalry as Mary wails.
Darkness sweeps the weeping sky,
Christ was sent from Him to die.
Behold, the stone rolled and His body no more
All who believe, shall enter through His door.
