This is one of my free verse(sort of) poems. Please enjoy.
I spoke with God once
We subjected hypersonic sound waves
And burned my soul on a tree
And these are the words that it spoke
To me;

"She and He are nothing but
Simple similes that furthers the gap
Between you and me

"I've withstood the testaments of time
Itself and watched children of the Earth
Get turned in to slave ships to
Carry African tribes to Jamaica and Barbados”

The tears of unborn children stream
Down my face, which is coated with
A layer of wood varnish to keep my
Emotional state in check

I stress over-inflated notes of
Currency using a form of syncopation
Not seen since Mozart’s
25th symphony, which I use to
Channel the silent voices of the
Weakest constants that penetrate
The coldest heart of Pluto

I resonate oxygen particles in the
Intellectual vacuums caught in the
Crossfire of poetic symphonies, lacking
More profound tastes than a Jesuit
Missionaries trying to convert Chinese
Dynasties with chain link clockwork

I spoke with God once
She and I had a subsonic time
I sat at the head of the
Table, and me, she, and Gandhi sat
Together and broke bread
