Tortured by life
Just another shadow in the corner
Another burned out candle at the church alter
The beauty of life has just about diseased
I need a new heart to bleed

Slice it up and butcher it

Watch the blood drip from your fingers to your feet
Watch the drops fall on the cold decrepit concrete
Watch as they slowly flow to form your name
And secretly inside I'll silently weep

Now drop the knife and walk away
Tattered rags and lasting impressions on the shrine of my freed soul
Will forever scream out the crime of your self-centred worth

For every drop of blood you make
My ghost will keep you awake

Now watch the blood drip from your fingers to your feet
Watch as the drops fall on the cold decrepit concrete
Watch as they slowly flow to form your name
And your face will seem to glee
As you look back and know my corpse won't speak
