this poem lays out my emotions in not only my class but my life but interperet it yourself
Lonely flashback,
Don't say that please.
This room is not empty,
It gives me no ease.
You all are indifferent,
Do you know what you do?
She rambles and thinks
She's getting something through,
But none of you listen;
No, wait, there is one:
She pushes back her hair,
And speaks, thinks it's fun.
No one else understands:
"She's just a redneck."
That's not what she is,
She's not simply on deck.
I need to get out,
There's too much here.
Though no one knows it,
They all express my worst fear.
I could go out the window,
A two-story drop.
But there's nothing to brace me;
I just want it to stop!
