A poem about being in love and realizing it's not going to work.
The snow is lightly falling down
The town is fast asleep
Sitting by the fire here
You cannot hear me weep

I cry for all the good times
I cry for all the bad
I don't know what to say to you
Without making you mad

Our time is coming to an end
I don't know what to say
I love you with all my heart more
But I just can't bring myself to stay

Please don't try to change my mind
Or you'll break my heart some more
When we finish this last talk
I'll walk right out the door

Our problems are too big to solve
And I just can't wait for change
There's someone who can make me happy
It'll be an open honest exchange

So I say this to you tonight
I have to say goodbye
Just turn around, don't watch me leave
For I'll have my head held high
