Memories of great things suddenly turn out worse when you come back to them later in life.
i can't believe
i've missed this for so long
i've been after one kiss
heart like a ping-pong
back and forth
human to superwoman
taking things as they come
for no longer will i Run away
from these endless days
drawn out in a haze
of humid confusion
lighting a match
to set the allusion
hoping to catch
a glimpse of your face
feel that touch
or sting your embrace
my heart shall race forevermore
to brood in your thoughts
for eternity
because simply
you have and still
haunt me.
everything.
still intact
waiting for a change
but i won't go back.
