A poem about unrequited love.
Tear running down my face,
Why is it I cry?
This emptiness inside of me
Makes me I feel like I could die.

I never felt this lonely,
Even though you’re always there,
Why can’t you just look at me?
As more than just a friend.

With you I feel a lifting beauty
With you I can not hide,
The fact that I can feel your touch,
Is hurting me inside.

I wish that you would say to me,
That love is like a dream,
A dream just for the two of us,
That lasts eternally.
