couples in restuarants that look unhappy and dont talk to eachother the dining dead
The weatherman said it's going to be a great day today.
I keep saying that, trying to convince us it's okay.
My horoscope said good times are coming.
Feels like I've been hearing that one for a while.
So I crack that joke, the one that always makes you smile.
But it's false, like we are false and we have been for years.
The tension falls all around us, hitting our heads and sinking in our ears.
Quit staring at your coffee, is it that much more interesting then me?
In a few minutes you'll make your excuses about having somewhere you need to be.
You get up and look at me and I meet your stare, each of us waiting for what needs to be said.
Come on just tell me our love is dead.
But you walk away and I say..
The weatherman said it's going to be a great day today.
