"Through The Windowpane"


Fallen Embers

Loving kisses after midnight,
young lovers having fun.
Passion's embers burning bright,
two bonding are as one.

Longing spirits are now adrift
'til nothing more remains.
Their hopes and dreams upon the wind
free from mortal chains.

Unfinished was their symphony,
some notes are never played.
When the final music's written,
and fallen embers fade.
