Sometimes you just have to ask yourself, is it worth it?
Is love worth the heartache?
Guaranteed to soon follow.
Is it worth all the pain?
That you have to swallow.

All the heartache and grief,
it soon will be giving.
The only thing in this world,
that can make your life not worth living.

A broken heart held in hand.
For all to stare at with icy cold eyes.
To mock you and doubt you,
and most of all despise.

Despise who you are, what you’ve done and the latter....
To tell you your nothing! And your love doesn’t matter!
So is love really worth all the hate and pain you’ll have to endure.
Where sometimes in your own heart your not even sure.

Then you see that smile and see those eyes.
It washes away every little ounce of doubt.
They still ask "What if?" and "Are you sure?"
You know in your heart though, theres nothing to be unsure about.
