This is my first ever work of poetry. It's actually a song.
I'm takin' the hint
but I just don't wanna believe it.
"Dead end" is comin' up
and I just don't wanna see it.

All I wanted was to be with you
take a walk,
lay and talk,
in the cool breeze of a springtime evenin'

But you just wouldn't have it,
and God knows I try hard
to forget it.
But God knows, there is no way.

All I wanted was to be with you,
take a walk,
lay and talk,
in the cool breeze of a springtime evenin'

I wrote this to tell you,
that all the time I think about you,
as I lay, in the evenin,
with the spring breeze blowing over.

All I wanted was to be with you,
take a walk,
lay and talk,
in the cool breeze of a springtime evenin'
