The old house upon the hill/ Windows darkened
The old house upon the hill
Windows darkened
All is still

Where is the visitor walking on
Doorways silent
All is gone

Where are the lights shining bright
Hallways empty
In the night

Where is the family, loving, dear
Rooms forgotten
Naught to hear

Who lives inside this house of stone
Memories lost
It is alone

The abandoned house upon the hill
Windows darkened
All is still
