Poem about confusion
Beautiful contradictions

You love me you hate me, you want me, you don’t.
You want me to stay here; you’re here on your own.
You think that I’m right and I believe what I say,
You tell me I’m lying and then run away.
You tell me I’m truthful you say that I lie,
You want me to live then you want me to die.
You begrudge me my rights yet you want me to fly,
To give me my freedom to give me my high.

You make others hate me you make me confess;
Sometimes I am more so, sometimes I am less.
You can’t let me win and yet I don’t lose,
I stay still the whole time I constantly move.
You want what you cant have, believe it’s your right,
You know that you don’t but you think that you might.
You say that I’m wrong and will never be right,
At the same time you wish that I’d win the fight

You think I could be someone, you think that I won’t,
Sometimes I make it but mostly I don’t.
You will never be quiet and leave me to die,
You know that you want it but you don’t know why.
You make me do bad things you make me do good,
You don’t want to do it but you know that you should.
You tell me you hate me and stay here the same,
As we share the same mind you are always my shame.
