Lightless Flame

I have fallen in a hole
I am in a fire down below
I feel the dark torn light
I can fight with all my might
but it cant change my darkend sight
All this while I have wasted my time
Mistake after mistake
It all has to do with my tasteless fate

I dig into the fire with bare hands
My dsperation burns harder
My thoughts of hope grow smaller
Somehow someway I will get out
Silent whispers as I try to budge
I cant find my way
through this hellish pit
The doors are locked and the windows blocked
I am so far down it doesnt matter
All my dreams are shattered
I try to walk, but stagger
All the heat keeps me awake
I roll into a helpless ball
Waiting for the time to pass
I am all alone, with only a past
and my future, out of sight
