In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, but where did God come from?
In the beginning there was nothing.

But there was a feeling. Like that niggling feeling you get in the back of your mind when you feel there must be something more to life. Like the warmth you feel as the earth rotates and the horizon rises to cover the sun. Like the power you feel when giant waves crash on rocks. Like the vitality you feel as crystal clear water flows through a stream in the deep forest. But since none of these things yet existed, there was just a feeling.

And the feeling said to itself, "Who am I to be feeling such things?" and with all the warmth, power and vitality you feel as you witness a big bang, there was God.
