A poem for every girl who has ever been dumped
Castle on rolling hills
Purple cloak, black dagger
Warm deceit
He rides

Castle on rolling hills
Draws nearer in the twilight
but runs from the crusaders thoughts
of warm deceit
She waits

He wonders if he'll ever tell her
or simply keep his hidden secrets
of a graceful lady over the hills
and on the other side

Castles on rolling hills
are dark and bleak
leaving no enchantment
full of promises, welcoming many
to drown in their ebony tide
of bitter tears rolling down the faces
of young girls who have lost the traces
of men who left to seek their laces
ore the hills on the other side

My castle is on a rolling hill
I've cried so long
I wait here still
You never came, you never will
Perhaps
I think
you Lied
