Rockpools and Dark Water

Rock pools and ripples
Caves of dark water
Shiny stones
Soft firelight on
Creamy stone walls
And echoes of lost sound
Ringing in chips and remaining
Bits.

Shiny fish glitter,
Darting to and fro
In those warm caverns
Secluded from blue skies
Yet lush with calmness
And relaxation
As I soak
In the cleansing fluids
Of soft memory
That fortunate people stash
Behind themselves
In their vaults of sparkling jewels.
