This is about a person in a struggle, because the person doesn't want to get hurt.
I can't catch my breath
(gasp, gasp)

Please somebody help me
I can't get out
Somebody free me
can't they hear my shouts?

I'm having trouble trading carbon dioxide
for oxygen.
One last sigh,
I need to save my life.
My confusion may subside
If you take me outside.

I've been led out so many times
but wearily I crawl back in
for the light always changes
to dark on my heart
Can we switch places?
That may be a start.

Your grass is green?
Why is mine gray?
I want to be free,
but everyone drives me to stay.
