Based on a true, if childish, crush, and a real trip to a real place. I think.
Arrival. First day.
Nervous talk mixed up with silent communication.
The cold of the place, creeping to a place deeeper
Than the bones of those who weep.
They are all laughing.
You don't know the meaning of your own words
But I do.

Struggling to keep up.
Conversations between the deaf and the mute.
There is a closed book in every mind.
An island of the dead in every heart.

Day number two
Resting, but not sleeping.
How can I sleep, when the warmth of her flesh is burning the sheets?
I saw you hug her, saw your eyes
And now, I can feel her breath, warm
Her body, close
Her beauty, cold
And the presence of your gaze, still lingering.

Sleeping with the enemy
Sleeping with the envious
Sleeping with the one who seeks to know
But doesn't understand.

Today is the third day.
And I am longing
Longing to get away, longing for these days to last forever.
Your eyes refuse to speak, but I can read your neck
Whispering about last night
But they too are too silent.
Awkward disbelief.

Can you know how I enjoy being this close to you?
Hearing you breath, feeling you heartbeat through your shirt
And mine?
And you don't have to speak, for all the days
Will be worth it for these hours next to you.
I swear, never shall I ask for anything more.

We count four days.
Everybody's eating chocolates, but
Today I'm hiding.
Creeping up inside the cold
Not to show, not to tell.
Afraid that they shall see, that she shall see, that you shall see
What I truly am.
And that I shall disgust you.

Last day.
The last hours, before we return to that place called life.
One chocolate left in the box
Tomorrow, tomorrow we're leaving.
Sweeping the room
"Who wants what I will offer?"
And you gave it to me
You gave it to me.

Reaching out your hand, curving your lips
Showing me your eyes.
No more than it seems, it would seem
But you chose me before her.
A friendly thing to do, that's all
But you gave it to me none the less.
So, with a smile of recognition

I recieve it, like a kiss.
