This was based on a real car accident my best friend was in.

Tires screeching and horns blaring,
people screaming everywhere.
Blood streaming down the windows,
losing life just isn't fair.

Lights flashing around the area,
it's 2pm but still so dark.
"I swear I didn't see them!"
"It was just so icy at the part!"

The jaws of life finally reach the scene,
ripping off doors left and right.
One door flies off and out pours blood,
the people inside gave up without a fight.

Medics rush to the car and pull people out,
not one person survived, dead right on the spot.
After spinning and flipping and getting smashed,
They look like broken pieces of flesh left to rot.

It's heart wrenching to watch people die,
to see the accident happen first hand.
Somebody witnesses a semi wipe out a car,
feeling like they're in quicksand.

It only takes a few minutes to happen,
but lasts a lifetime to end.
Nobody can go back to fix the problem,
they can only try to help mend.

And finally when it all sinks in,
that people died right in front of your face.
"I'm sorry, truly I am" he begs for forgiveness,
Everybody will remember that horrible place.
