100 (different) word entry.
Consciousness returns. Images flash like firecrackers, bright pops - frightening.

Silence. Burnt rubber. Blinding light. Nothingness.

“Help!” An empty desperate plea reverberates off stone walls.

"Can't do too much here."

"What? Where?"

Clinging cliffside inches apart, yet seperated by rock.

"Look."

"Must be one hundred feet down. My eyes are shut."

"Try two."

"How'd this happen."

Wind blows. Skies grow dark. Emotions, mind, and nerves strain. The temperature drops as dusk settles.

"Anyone searching?"

"Doubtful."

"Have mercy on us."

"Praying?"

"Yes."

"Faith works?"

"I believe."

"Give me proof."

Crack. Whoosh. She winces knowing him gone.

Alone. Waiting. Sunrise. Warmth. Strength. Hope.
