Well this poem is of two twins, when one dies the girlfriend marries the other twin.
Years go past
We start to die
And still there is a shadow cast
By a small lie
I must tell you at last

In the beginning in love with John
Was I to him and he to me
But then he died
And you proposed
Then on to me you were John
