You tell me what it is about...
Autumn leaves blow
Crisp and cool
Flowing past my weeping face
The night sky never looked more heavenly
Please let the darkness reign for all time
For the dawn will bring my demise
I'm not ready to say goodbye to the trees
To the lakes and to the streams
Oh please, I do not want to die!
On this earth I have not lived enough years
Butterflies cry
Dragonflies sigh
My faith was to be masked
But to this world I fell naked
Without molding to their ways
I was looked down upon
Scolded and beaten to nothing
My freedom taken away
Now as dawn approaches
They will take away my right to breathe
Perhaps I must accept this fate
The silence that shortly comes after
I now bow my head to the newborn sun
My life is to now be undone
To my end I shall go
Never knowing of what was to be
What would have been done
And everything I had wished to see
