A lonely elf?
There once was an elf,
With two heads not one,
All her friends had gone,
The elf was a loner,
No one did phone her,
Nor speak or moan.

To all she had shown,
One was better than two,
Every night she would cry,
“Oh why, why, why”.

They mocked and laughed,
The rest called her daft,
And every night she would cry,
“Oh why, why, why”.

One such night she got her answer,
After they had all died of laughter,
And when she did cry,
“Oh why, why, why”

“Oh little girl how you can cry,
Oh, why, why, why,
You moan and wail,
Then whine and bail,
Why, why, WHY?

How can you say such a horrible thing,
You don’t have two heads, no answers you bring,
“No I have five, each to a brain,
Two to each side and one as the main,
We have double the looks and double the smarts,
And each has a mouth, so more the fruit tarts,

And she found he was right,
She soared through the day like an angel in flight,
And never was she bothered again,
For she was twice better than all of them!
