A poem on AIDS and those it affects
To all victims of this deadly disease

I went to heaven in his arms,
And on me hell he did bestow;
He won me with his manly charms,
Now my immune system will not grow.
I paid a big price for my minutes in heaven,
It made my life a living hell;
I've been punished seven times seven,
So take my warning, heed it well.
I harbor this horrible disease called AIDS,
I feel but shame, I've lost all pride;
There's only black, there are no shades,
I sit and wait for the final ride.
Listen to the media, save yourself,
Be safe, be square, never be free,
Put your passion on the highest shelf,
Before you end up,
Dead, like me.
