A poem about a trickster.
Watching
you, the hated, beloved
accured you.
You.
You who have betrayed me you
sly cat.
You who have danced round me,
while
I suffered alone in the circle.
Seeing you makes me
want to spring at you,
and bring upon you what has come upon me.
You are so georgeous,
lithe and slick,
pale as the moon,
oh how I love you!
You killing, maddened
thing,
A cat, foam driping from its jaws,
rabid,
waiting to taste my flesh.
And all this time
I've waited and pined for you,
you the enchantress, the trickster, the devil.
You who have lulled me into this trap.
