This came straight from my heart and deep down from my pain.
When I think of my childhood
I want to cry
Remembering all the days I wanted to die
I wanted someone to understand me, no one could

It was like, I was always on my own
Everyone had their own thing to do
My dreams, aspirations, are little and few
Cold, afraid, and always alone

The arguing and the fights
The screaming, the crying, the pleading
It felt like I was not even breathing
It all kept me up at nights

Leaving home is what its going to be
To take away all these bad memories
