Is it literal? Is it symbolic? You decide.
She blossomed before him
Stretching out her long arms
Like soft pink petals
And tilted her face
Towards the warm, bright sun.
He floated above her,
A butterfly, a moth,
And she offered herself to him,
A flower in waiting.
Softly, slowly,
He came down upon her;
A loving embrace.
Then suddenly, surely,
He pulled away from her,
And she let him.
He floated away
Towards the high, loving sun
While she remained
In her lush garden.
The bumblebee had his pollen
The flower had her visit
The pollination was complete.
