A little ranting about society.
People expect everyone to be just like they are.
Intolerant of anybody who doesn’t fit the image
Of what they expect to see in everybody’s character.
They’ll put you down only because you’re different,
Or they think you don’t look picture perfect.

People misunderstand what is acceptable.
Their minds are filled with stereotypes
Of what perfection should ALWAYS be.
If you don’t look like you belong in magazines,
They think you shouldn’t be seen with them.

People won’t accept different ideals and beliefs.
If you don’t look at the world like they all do,
You’re an outcast in their superficial eyes.
Everybody should conform to what they want,
And it can never be the other way around.

People love the wealth money brings them.
They treat those without their advantages like trash,
Only to feed their own insecurities about their lives.
Most of them don’t realize what it’s like
To have to worry about paying next month’s rent.
