Just a fun little poem I threw together. Celebrates poetry and English.
In shadowed moonlight
O’er there
Exists is a silence on the air
Where lie a creature great and fair
With sunlight bouncing off its hair
Enjoying dust with great delight

It plays and pounces, turning a spin
Laughing, smiling, rollicking fun
Sometimes lying still in the sun
Later dashing into a run
Till finally the deed is done
Playing in the crinoline
