My Basenji Harley
Red and white in color
Ears that rise to the sun
Short in height, long on legs
Just looking at him is fun

My Basenji Harley
Always sweet and loving
Must be where I am at
Angers when separated
Attitude like a cat

My Basenji Harley
Doesn’t care what I want
Impossible to train
Food his only motive
From anger I refrain

My Basenji Harley
Misses me when I’m gone
Greets me at the front door
A cookie he expects
A dog whom I adore
