A foster childs typical inner questions
Why are you so angry?
What did I do?
Was it something I said?
What was the cue?

Why can’t you hear me?
Why don’t you see?
It’s you whom I look to
And try hard to be!

Who are you angry with?
It seems to be me.
Why do you yell?
Just let me see!

Did you ever love me?
Do you love me today?
Why can’t you show me?
I don’t care in what way!

Do you know I love you?
Do you even care?
I’ve tried hard to tell you
But you’re not really there.
