What happens after breakfast in some households?
I sat inside, finishing the delightful breakfast I had made for myself. It is so peaceful today. The wind pushes its way across the lake and whispers gleefully through the trees. It is a peaceful day. The chimes bounce against each other, making themselves the lead vocalists in a choir of chirping birds. It is peaceful here today. The ants crawl up the stems of flowers that have only just begun to bloom, blooming only for those hummingbirds that fly above, all alone, on this windy, yet peaceful day. The fruit flies buzz around the freshly sliced strawberries. I shoo them away. This day is so peaceful, I think to myself. Then she walks in.
