Insomnia ~ a bit of mythology in a mirrored cinquain ~
Insomnia

I lay
in Hypnos’ calm
canopy of moonlight
accompanied by twinkling stars;
Dreaming.

Watching
summer call sparkling fireflies
to dance for Thanatos’
agrypnia;
I wake.
