This is a poem I wrote. I was reading Mercedes Lackey, and was inspired.
As I await
Dawn's first rays
I recite the list
Softly to myself
Should one ingredient
Be missed
Results would be
Not as I wish
Thyme
Rosemary
Cloves
and Monkswood

Satisfied
My recitation changes
To the spell
Voice rising and falling
In time to a forgotten
Tune only mine ears
Hear caroling across
The meadow
To my hiding place

Remember Mia
And her foolish wish
I smile
Robe flaring behind me
Caught up in a sudden wind
That isn't there
Whispering into the wind
I feel that presence
That silent ghost
Haunting me
Dodging my eyes
Caressing my senses

My recitation comes
To its close
The bridge is complete
You cross over
I smile
Never again
Will I have to listen
To those pompous
Cowards' demands

Cradled in your embrace
I sigh
Content at last
As the world comes
To a close
And the chaos
All around
Collapses

I love this
Enchantment
You left
Entrusted to me
Thankful for my
Powers at last
Having a use
I love Hallow's morn
With all of it's
