This poem is about true love and what I feel it is on a deeper level.
If tonight were the end,
We stand at the beginning.
For there is no end to true love,
Only the journey.
But this journey is different from others.
Its not a trip,
Or traversing to some destination.
No,
This journey is profoundly deeper.
Neither time nor finish have place,
For its about two broken hearts
Forever, becoming one.
If a destination is achieved,
Or a finish line reached,
You'll know.
It wasn't true love.
