Avalon is a place of perfection, where supposedly King Arthur went.
When the sky reflects back
And your face is gray
And the moon shines black
I’ll hear you say
How much you need me
I’ll reply
How much you mean to me
We’ll fly
To the shadows of
The Avalonian landscape
We will seek
Refuge in an Eden escape

I whisper as you plead
Drenched in water
Drinking gasoline
I only wanted fire
And to hear you scream

I have known this so long
As the sun sets in
This wounded Avalon
The clouds in my head
Enunciate the pain
Renouncing the dead

Did I ruin paradise
With my ghost
This poltergeist
Your body froze
Beneath the ice
Of heaven

I wanted perfection
It never came to work
When tranquility lies
Beneath the dirt

I have come to leave Avalon
