I saw this picture and it spoke for me. It made me very reminiscent

We're almost home Mama, We left early this morning
The trip has been long but we knew you'd be waiting.

Each highway leads home When you've long been away
The yearning in my heart Seems to have come to stay

Just got to see you Mama. I have much to tell
The years I've been gone Have served me well.

I've aged a little, even put on a few pounds,
There’s sprinkles of gray in my hair I’ve found.

We're almost home Mama The children are with us
We've tried to hurry But they make such a fuss.

Little fellows don't understand long rides in a car
They constantly cry, "How far now mama? How far?"

One day they’ll know, One day they’ll understand,
That the road to home always
Comes to an end.

And at the end of the road there’ll be someone waiting
As you must be with anticipation.

To see your children, and her little ones,
It’s a cycle of life, Mom
That just keeps on going.
