Most everybody wants dirt. Stay in the pig pen.
You helped build the walls
the walls that encompass my life
you promised to be a watchman
against events that might cause strife
You let me into your world
and showed me strange sights
you weakened my resistance
i lost my will to fight
the trap was then set
me the rat seeing blind
i then ran stumbling
no happiness did i find

my world turned cold
my actions you did not condemn
i had become an adulterer
and you were already one of them
i know my reponsibility
lies with me and only me
but the consequences aren't only mine
they affect my entire family
our door now seems shut
yet on the knob i have my hand
i want the door to open
and you to see the new man.
