The first day I met him...
Look at him as he dreams
What is a man like him to be called?
What is his name?
He looks like a child lost in this world
Inside his mind the images twirl
What would you give to hold him to you?
To leave this cold world
For a dance built for two
To live and laugh alone in the night
To hold him to you and never look back
What could it be he ponders so deep?
The look on his face others would weep
But to me he is strong
He stands steady and true
To me he is brave, what’s he to you?
You look at him and laugh as you pass
If I were not a lady I would kick your ass
You call him your own
But one day you will see
That the man you don’t cherish
Will belong to me.
