A man is lured into the deep waters of the mermaids' lair.
The hours of twilight surround me,
And I stand here,
Before the sea,
Feeling the pull of the moon,
And hearing the waves call.
No,
Not the waves,
Them.
Their watery angelic voices,
Mixing with the ambience,
Of the sea glistening in the night.
Haunting me,
Luring me the the waters,
To the very depths of their lair.
I wade towards them,
Shedding off clothes as I move closer.
Their silver eyes glint in the moonlight,
And their lips part in slient anticipation,
As they watch me.
I dive under,
Closing the distance between us,
Finally reaching them.
Their lean arms wrap around me,
And their supple bodies press into mine.
I relax,
Melting into their embrace,
And they tug at my hands,
Pulling me with them,
And I follow,
Unable to resist,
For I am caught by the Mermaids' Lure.
