Somewhere, just beyond my reach, the real world exists without me.
Plea for Reality

Someone wake me from my sleep
Don't tell me this isn't a dream.
I'm drowning in a lack or reality
Too soon I'll lose what little sanity
I cling so dearly onto.
No longer can I discern where my world ends
and the real world begins.
So shatter my consciousness
let me feel emotion without the pain,
without the numbness in my heart.
Somewhere, just beyond my reach,
the world is waiting
So close to my outstretched fingertips.
Bring me back there.
